How about adding the aptosid lettering to the kickoff menu instead of that default and unexciting kde branding?
There does exist /usr/share/aptosid-settings-kde/kde4/default/share/apps/ with entries for dolphin and konsole. Why not add desktoptheme/default/widgets/ with an included aptosid branding.svgz by default? |

Nice, idea! But it's not possible anymore to get it into apate; every art related things are completed - no more ideas are addable for that release.
But maybe next release (01-2011) |

| spacepenguin: thanks for the suggestion! now that apate has been released, the flood gates are open for just those kinds of ideas. be sure, i'll be looking into adding that for 2011-01. |
