On the siduction forum it was mention that there was bug in systemd that made the system unbootable.

Does this affect aptosid/sid also?

I still don't know if it were a problem for aptosid, but a new version of systemd came out (238-2) which I assume might fix the issue. (Haven't tried though.)

No, that problem doesnt exist in aptosid.
And yes, it's solved with systemd 238-2.
