Post subject: After DU no login-screen

Hello!
After DU yesterday ( last DU 6/15) booting stoped exactly before I get the login screen; display is black, cursor not blinking.
I can use terminals only.
During the Du I changed to sddm.
In " /etc/X11/default-display-manager" is sddm.
In "/user/share/xsessions is flugbox.desktop.
After "startx" in a terminal, I get flugbox.
"service sddm start" makes no effekt.

Wich further logs or files are necessary for a advice?
Should I reinstall some kde-packages?

All of those packages are supposed to go.
plasma-desktop shouldn't be held back, but installed to the current version (please revisit the hints for upgrading to KDE5, you're probably falling over remaining issues there).
mdadm always prints out those messages if you don't use it (software RAID), those messages are harmless but you can purge mdadm. |

Thanks for your replay!
Reinstalling plasma-desktop did not change my situation.
Revisited the old hints for the upgrading to KDE5, opens for me more questions as answers, because they are more than
3 month old and I don´t know, wich is relevant for me now.
Also they have often an other relation as to my problem.
Found this:

If I don´t get another advice, I will try this.
But I am a realist.
It means that I am only a experienced user, who is fixed on Debian and prefer aptosid, wich is realy a good work.
But as no linux-crack, it will get more complex in this times, to hold my installation proper, especially there is no
newer release from aptosid to make a new install.
So I don´t exclude to change to Debian-Stable if my problem persist, after a very good time from 8 years with sidux/aptosid.
In this case, I leave with very good impressions and great respekt for your work.

what you found helped me to get my aptosid "back on track", Plasma working again 
Thanks for digging it out.
I've been considering switching to Linux Mint Debian, if...

Not in my case.
Changed to Stable/Jessie
Thanks to aptosid. Had 8 years very good experiences and learned a lot.
Thanks to the maintainers for this good and professionel work.
