Fresh aptosid install on a box with a new LCD monitor (had windows on it before, so I have no reference with how this hardware worked with previous versions). Dist-upgraded last week sometime, and added new LCD monitor after.
Monitor enters power down mode only for a few seconds, then turns back on and will stay on forever.
Using the nouveau driver with a GeForce 9400 GT. Monitor is a "debranded" HP TSS-23X11 connected by DVI.
xset dpms force off, or force suspend does the same thing - same with adding a sleep of various lengths infront
Anyone else have a similar issue? |
