Congratulations on the release of aptosid2011.03 which I am downloading as I type. I think you did the right thing by not using red as the dominant color on the background, or so I gather from distrowatch screenshots. Red is a no no for things you keep in sight all the time.
But today the color scheme of this site it's become much like the siduction's one, and siduction was out the same day of the new aptosid.
To me it is clear what is sid aptosid and siduction, but will other people be confused?
I dunno and don't care if and who copied whom, and as regard to forks I'd be personally very pleased to see knoppix kanotix aptosid siduction and debian live projects merge into the live and "alternative quick install version" of debian so please do not consider this as flamebait but just as a heads-up, do what you want I'll always be a fan of these distros.
Cheers! |

Yes! I am confused! (no interest in kindergarten trolls...) (and no problem with red, unlike los toros!) |

I don't see anything confusing about it. It is another distro. If they are contributing to Debian and the various desktops, we will all benefit. Trolls troll, haters hate, it's what they know. Red has always been my favorite color, I have no problem looking at it all day. It isn't like the colors were fire engine red, after all.
In a perfect world, having all these talented folks working on "one swirl to rule them all" would be awesome. People being people, that isn't going to happen, so there is little point in dreaming about it.
I also note that the download date on my "Πόνος" blue desktop background is 11/1/11, and I doubt that I discovered it on the first day it was uploaded to the mirrors. |

I like the blue theme. The favicon could use some blue, too. Also thank you for taking time in modify the aptosid logo in the left upper corner for christmas and new year days |

That is easy for you to say, you're already blue!
I am going to have to make my man-eating lobster blue now. |

hue-saturation controls in gimp are very useful to change background and put it in line with whatever theme you pick for windows decorations. I suggest considering adf gillius condensed as proportional font and envy r code as fixed width font. |
