GPG error: Invalid signature

Hi,

I have this problem for a while already.
Everytime I want to perform actions like apt-get update or want to run pyfll gpg complains that the debian archive keys (and frickelplatz keys) are invalid.

I have already tried to reinstall debian-archive-keyrings, but nothing has happened.

Can anybody help me?

It not only says that the signatures are invalid, they are even BADSIG meaning that the file (Release) doesn't contain the content it is supposed to have!

As i guess you are not under active attack by a real man-in-the-middle you have something in between your system and the servers which give incorrect responses (which is the short description of a man-in-the-middle). First, try 'rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists'. APT can't recover from some broken files. We (talking about upstream) know that, it's "just" hard to fix it. If it still fails make sure you don't have a outdated/broken proxy configured. Many proxies are unfortunately very bad at implementing the HTTP spec in all it's details and APT is quiet demanding in this regard.

Thanks DonKult!

Fixed it some weeks ago by removing the lists, disabling approx, updating re-enabling approx and updating again.

It was a bit tricky, but after a few tries the prroblem was solved.
