since I have installed aptosid-2010-02, I sometimes have blurred graphic errors like this (pdf in okular):
The error occures also in konsole or even in a virtual machine

if you use KMS, please remove the vga=foo in the grub kernel line.
if that does not help, disable KMS with the cheatcode i915.modeset=0 (and add vga=foo again)
one of the 2 might help.
