Hello there,
is it possible to test the kdm .xml file without the need to install the theme into the system?
I am trying to design a new kdm theme which would match the splash I made However I don't really understand anything that's inside the .xml so I have to apply the trial-and-error method

You can try asking the art-team on irc or maybe they might chime in here.
I would test it and install it in systemsettings though, it can be removed from there just as easy as installing it.
