Hi,

and thanks a lot for the new release!

I wanted to start gparted (which is now again available in the kde-menu).
-> Nothing.

ok, manually:
bash> gparted -> there is no gparted.

ok, become root:
bash# gparted -> no X

ok, sux:
sux# gparted -> no .Xauthority.

ok, copy that from the aptosid-user to /root.
sux# gparted

YES!

But why has it to be such complicated? Please?

If you're desperate a simple user fix for gparted = right click >start to edit the menu items for start>system>gparted. I removed the gksu and clicked "advanced" to run as root. Worked with i386-DVD
