I had some spare time today...
If you want to use it copy it as clock.svgz into the widgets folder of your favorite plasma theme in ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme. |

Hi
Apparently, I'm doing something wrong. I've copied the above file to the indicated folder and extracted it. However, the analog clock, as supplied in the "add widgits" does not have a menu item that allows one to navigate to the file and it does not use the image as a default. Am I using the correct clock?(The analog clock which is supplied in the default widgits under "date and time"?
Thanks ahead of time for the help. Aptosid really is a "just works" distro!

| @blackforestcoldblood: Don't extract. It must have the name clock.svgz and stay in svgz format. |

Hi
thanks for the quick reply.
I removed the extracted file and the file that is there is:
clock.svgz
It still opens in the default skin, in the sttings/appearance there is show seconds hand and show time zone and that is all. I can't find any other menu item to configure it on the clock.

| That's ok, there aren't any further settings. You cannot choose the skin in the clock configuration. Which plasma theme do you use? |
