Earlier today we have uploaded Perl 5.26 to Debian unstable, starting a 500+ package transition. Wide uninstallability is to be expected in sid for the next few days until the necessary rebuilds have been completed.

At the moment the bulk of the perl transition seems to be through and normal systems are upgradable again. That doesn't necessarily mean that all constellations are already finished, nor that a subsequent stage of the transition might not cause further intermittent problems - so extra attention remains important for now.
