Hello,
I try to install KFAS package in R.
It fails with the following error message.
Code:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -llapack
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lblas
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [KFAS.so] Error 1
Any idea for a possible solution or workaround?

Are you sure that you have all needed libraries installed?
Look for a README or something like that detailing what you need to compile it.
From the error message it seems like you are missing at least 'liblapack3' and 'libblas3'.
(even though as you are compiling things you probably need also the 'liblapack-dev' and 'libblas-dev' which include the headers, but I wonder a bit why only the linker complains and not the compiler …)

After installing the *-dev packages KFAS installed without problem (and I hope other packages will installed too).
I have spent a week was looking for a solution.
