I get these messages in syslog continiously:

      Code:

Mar 26 13:05:53 jager wpa_supplicant[3042]: Trying to authenticate with 54:04:a6:8b:3b:88 (SSID='acesspoint' freq=2412 MHz)

Mar 26 13:05:54 jager kernel: [   30.594214] wlan0: authentication with 54:04:a6:8b:3b:88 timed out

In 3.3-0.slh.1 everything is ok.

BTW I can connect to some networks even in slh.2, but unfortunately I can't get iwlist output for them right now because now I'm not near the network which I can successfully connect to. So I think that the problem is authtype-specific.

That problem is specific for 3.3 kernel major version, and my problem is only build-specific so I think it's not related.

BTW here's a network which I can successfully connect to, on any kernel:
      Code:

          Frequency:2.462 GHz (Channel 11)

Same wireless ath9k problem here, with the last 3.3-0.slh.3 kernel.

I cannot say for kernel 3.3-0.slh.2; but kernel 3.3-0.slh.1 works fine for me and so I use 3.3-0.slh.1 now.

Seems like I can't do that, I can only change post's subject.

P.S. slh.5 also doesn't work

slh,
If you read this - should we write a bugreport somewhere, or maybe additional info we can provide to help?

I see 3.3-0.slh.6 is in the repos...
How is it ath9k with slh.6 - is it safe to enable kernel upgrades?

manul, a clear identification of the chipsets involved would be a start point.

It would also be very interesting to determine if scanning (iw dev wlan0 scan) succeeds or if there is a pattern which network kinds it can't access (WEP, WPA1psk/ TKIP, WPA2psk/ CCMP, etc.), eventual errors or warnings in dmesg and what wpa_cli has to say.

AR9285 is working fine for me in a WPA2psk/ CCMP environment, using HT40 in the 2.4 GHz band.
