          | I want to install aptoid. I would like things to work smoothly. What repos should I have in my sources.list, so that I can hear mp3s, watch films, display Flash content of web pages, stuff like that??
I presume there are a few repos 'non-free' which may need to be added manually.

          | In theory: none. Install gnash (free flash implementation), a movie player should already be included - for KDE e.g. dragon or kaffeine - and all mp3 are playable out-of-the-box anyway…
In practice gnash might not be enough so activate debians contrib and non-free components. How is written down in the manual. The package for the adobe flash thingy is called 'flashplugin-nonfree' - but this comes without warranty and each month adobe decides to not support linux anymore, so be careful…

Special hint: The 'xul-ext-flashblock' extension for iceweasel is really useful.
