Hi,
I installed a new icon set for kde and the system tray icon for konversation changed as expected. However when it notifies me about a new message the red notifying icon is still the old one
I just can't find where this icon is placed.
Don't you know how to change it? |

I'm guessing that your newly selected icon theme doesn't provide a konversation notification icon, so KDE pulls it from the default stock. If that's the case, then you should let upstream know of the deficiency. (or make one yourself and petition upstream for inclusion). |

Listen on the session dbus (e.g. with dbus-monitor), trigger the notification and look for 'Notify' method calls. They should tell you which icon is used. See http://people.gnome.org/~mccann/docs/no ... l#protocol to understand what parameter means what. Either it mentions a file directly or just an "identifier" - which is properly part of a filename on your system. |

or just have a dig through /usr/share/icons/. your theme should have its own directory in there. compare it against oxygen to see what's missing. |

Thats where I change my icons for certain apps etc .. |
