Post subject: Faster KDE startup by resaving the session

Hi,
just a little tip:
On 2 of my PCs the KDE startup time took very long. It seemed that something wanted to be started, but could not, and KDE did continue after a timeout of 10-30 seconds.
What did help: After the complete KDE desktop was loaded I did save the session again (this is only required and possible if you have KDE configured to restore a manually saved session).
Now starting up of KDE is much faster, without any delays. |
